Senior FF&E Designer

Skilled Careers are looking for a senior FF&E designer to join a beautiful vibrant studio designed by the company itself reflective of their creative edge in the interior design industry. They specialise in high-end, contemporary hospitality and residential projects in the UK and Internationally and they are in the process of opening two new studios, one in New York and another in the Middle East. They have a wonderful team of talented designers and they provide a career development plan to ensure that their designers are appreciated and are given the opportunity to progress in their career within the company. They have a flat team structure where their talented designers are encouraged to voice their opinions and ideas and contribute to the success of the studio.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading the FF&E design team in various residential and hospitality projects. You will be expected to lead the internal design team from concept design through to on-site installation and completion ensuring that projects are kept within budget and closely match the clients brief.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have the following experience
* Installing a number of residential and hospitality projects within the UK and Internationally.
* Leading a small team of designers through the different stages of projects.
* Liaising with clients to understand the brief and presenting design proposals and final concept designs to clients.
* Designing bespoke FF&E with experience in bespoke joinery detailing. You must be AutoCAD proficient.
* You should have good experience in procurement and experience in specifying and scheduling as well as snagging on-site.
* Good supplier knowledge is essential.
* Good freehand sketching skills is desirable.
