Refrigeration Engineer - London & Home Counties - Circa GBP35,000 + Van + Benefits - Ref 069
I am currently recruiting for a Refigeration Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation covering London and the Home Counties. Salary circa GBP35,000 + Van + Benefits.
The organisation has been in operation for over 30 years, employ around 80 people and are experts within the HVAC sector. This role will sit within a start-up division of the business which has been going for about 18-months and focuses solely on the Air Conditioning sector.
They have been growing considerably over recent months and now employ 3 people within the start-up division and are looking to add additional members to the team with immediate effect. Part of the growth plans is to move away from sub-contract installation labour to in-house labour which is how this role has come about and the need has arisen to recruit a Refigeration Engineer.
In this role as a Refrigeration Engineer you will be responsible for the service and installation of VRF/VRV projects. Once the projects are installed you will be involved in the service and maintenance of them as and when required and in line with company standards. This role will be predominately focused on London and the Home Counties. You must be local to Buckinghamshire to attend the office and pick up materials as and when required but this won't necessarily be every day if you live further afield. There is a more junior engineer moving across from the other side of the business so part of your role if experienced enough could be leading and mentoring this individual with the view of becoming Installations Manager in time and running a much larger team.
Essential Requirements:
* NVQ level 2 refrigeration and air conditioning
* F GAS
* Previous experience servicing and installing VRF/VRV Systems
Ideal Requirements:
* Experience SMSTS, Valid Skill Card, First Aid, working at heights, Asbestos Awareness
* Experience with Chillers or Chilled Water Fan Coils
* Experience in Supervisory role
