Our client is seeking a candidate who has experience in a HR support/administration role and is keen to develop into a HR Assistant role. They are looking for someone who is wanting to do their CIPD which the organisation will support.
This role is full-time Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
The job purpose is to deal with HR Administration and queries alongside an experienced HR Adviser. To ensure the timely, accurate administration of all HR paperwork, including payroll and recruitment, and work closely with the HR Adviser.
Responsibilities
• Responsibility for HR files and system, to ensure they are kept complete and up to date
• Maintaining records of HR key performance indicators, such as holidays, long service awards, sickness absence, end of probation and appraisals due.
• Reporting to the CEO on the KPIs and inspections of HR files, and on any other matters as required Payroll, Pension and Benefits
• Ensuring that payroll is correctly and efficiently administered, including pension contributions (alongside the HR Adviser)
• Assist the Finance Director with administration of staff pensions.
• Manage and communicate all employee related benefits Recruitment
• Working with the operational management to advertise vacancies.
• Collating applications, assisting with shortlisting CV, organising and taking part in interviews.
• Handling all correspondence - including rejections, feedback and offer packs.
• Work with agencies to find any temporary or permanent staff.
• Obtain all required employment checks and appropriate references.
Qualifications and Experience
HR administration experience
At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English at Grade C or above.
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft packages
Calm under pressure
