The Company:
Our client is an award winning food manufacturer with a long heritage and history looking to recruit a new Production Manager due to continued growth within the business.
The successful candidate will manage and lead the production department, developing and training the team to drive and achieve company targets and goals.
Salary of a Production Manager
The salary for this role will be between GBP30,000 - GBP32,000 on day shifts.
Job Description of a Production Manager
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for;
Management and supervision of production targets and packaging lines across site.
Maintain quality and health and safety across site, ensuring all employees adhere to company standards.
Ensuring KPI's and targets are monitored and achieved, offering training and development where possible.
Identify opportunities to reduce waste and increase efficiency by utilising lean manufacturing techniques.
Skills & experience of a Production Manager:
At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role or as a Production Supervisor looking to progress their career.
Food or Packaging experience is essential.
Lean manufacturing or Continuous improvement experience is desirable.
Management or Food/H&S qualification is desirable.
