Head of Property Management (Block) - Colchester, Essex
Strong Established Independent Managing Agent with a great brand name based in Colchester Essex is looking for an experienced team leader in their busy Block management department.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of properties; therefore they must be able to manage their own workload, keep on top of any issues and prioritise jobs as necessary.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
* Overseeing a small number of Property Managers within Team
* Team meetings
* Recruitment of staff
* Implement new procedures
* Have the ability to demonstrate a track record of managing rental properties
* Be fully conversant with current regulation/ legislation and processes surrounding Block Management
* Striving to exceed individual targets and standards.
* Referring business across departments to maximise business opportunities
* Striving to exceed customer expectations
* Handling complaints and providing solutions
* Maintaining policies and procedures in accordance with company policies
* Ensuring compliance
* Supporting the team when required.
The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:
* Must have 2 years' experience in managing a team within Block Property Management
* Minimum 3 years Property Management Experience
* The candidates must have intermediate computer literacy
* Experience of lettings/property management software packages
* Professional AIRPM accreditation would be seen as a strong advantage but essential.
* Be able to manage their own workload
* Full valid driving licence is essential
The hours will be:
Monday to Friday 40 hour week
Salary range will be:
between GBP30,000pa to GBP32,000pa depending on experience.
