We are currently looking for a Service Charge Accountant to join us and help to deliver an exceptional service to our clients.

The Role

As a Service Charge Accountant, you’ll perform a range of accounting activities for a portfolio of properties. You will also oversee a small team of more junior Service Charge Accountants.

Working closely with the Service Charge Accounts Manager, you will: 

- Complete credit control, accounts payable and treasury processes for your portfolio
- Ensure that departmental KPIs are met
- Oversee the preparation of financial information summaries, including year end accounts 
- Liaise with Property Managers regarding any accounting matters

About You 

To join us as a Service Charge Accountant, you will need: 

- Service charge experience
- The ability to support junior team members  
- A meticulous approach 
- Strong communication skills

Ideally, you will be part or fully AAT/ACCA qualified, but this is not essential. Experience of Propman software is also an advantage. 

Other companies may call this role Accountant, Client Accountant, Service Charge Accountant, Accounts Team Leader, or Service Charge Accounts Supervisor.  

Those with a Finance, Financial, Accounts, Accounting, Accountancy or Property background would also be of interest.
