We are now looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team in Shepton Mallet, working on a full time or part time basis.
- Salary of up to £22,000 DOE (pro rata if part time)

As a Bookkeeper, you will assist with all aspects of bookkeeping, as well as accounts and management accounts preparation. You will also prepare VAT returns and bank reconciliations, largely using bank feeds.
The other key aspect of your role will involve providing training and support in the use of bookkeeping software packages, both in-house and externally.
You’ll focus on delivering a first-class service to clients, answering any queries they may have and helping them to successfully prepare their accounts.
To join us as a Bookkeeper, you’ll need:
- To be AAT qualified (or have equivalent knowledge/experience)
- Experience with a variety of accounting software and/or systems packages, such as Sage 50 Cloud Accounts, Xero, or QuickBooks Online
- A good understanding of bookkeeping processes and controls
- Excellent communication skills
Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years’ bookkeeping experience, but this is not essential.

This is a full time role. However, this role can be offered on a part time basis, working a minimum of 21 hours per week.
