Would you like to be part of an amazing and innovative team of people who spend each working day making life-changing differences to injured fire and rescue personnel and their families?

Are you someone who believes in treating everyone as an individual and taking a holistic approach to their overall wellbeing?

If the answer to the above is yes, we want to hear from you.

About Us

The Fire Fighters Charity is the organisation that supports the mental, physical and social needs of the members of the UK Fire and Rescue Service community. We recognise that no two people requesting our support do so for the same reason and tailor our service to achieve the best results for each of our beneficiaries.

When the rescuers need it the most, we rescue them.

We are currently seeking a Physiotherapist to join us on a fixed-term contract lasting up to 12 months.

The Benefits

- Salary of £32,548 per annum

You will be joining our team at an exciting time as we develop our services to provide lifelong support and empower people to achieve psychological, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives.

The Role

Working in collaboration with Exercise Therapists and Psychological Therapists, you will use your expertise to provide one-to-one support through physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management, both at our specialist rehabilitation centre and online through our digital platforms and apps.

You will see a wide range of health conditions and have substantial opportunities to be an active part of service development and audit and lead on specific areas.

About You

If you are an established band 5 Physiotherapist and are looking for an opportunity to develop your skills, then this could be an excellent opportunity for you, or you may already be in a band 6 role and are looking to hone and share your knowledge and expertise.

To join us as a Physiotherapist, you will:

- Have a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy or an alternative appropriate qualification in physiotherapy
- Be a chartered physiotherapist, registered with the HCPC and a member of the CSP

We welcome informal visits to the centre where the grounds, facilities and the services provided can be fully appreciated and where we can share with you some of the positive feedback we receive.

The Charity is an Equal Opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all sections of the community. When recruiting our new team members, regardless of the role, we are looking for people who share our values to help us to achieve our strategic plan.
