This is an exciting opportunity to join Thales as a Field Service Engineering Apprentice within the Engineering Services team. The Engineering Services team serve Thales Businesses across the UK with the expertise and resources to create and deliver service solutions to customers - supporting them throughout the life of their products (from innovative management to maintenance).

Services Delivery is a customer focussed organisation that combines customer management and engineering to provide solutions that are necessary to assure effective and economical support of a specific system or capability.

The Programme:

Through this level three apprenticeship you'll be making the most of your talents, getting to understand engineering from the ground up; and doing so with the help of one of the biggest and best names in the industry.

As an Engineering Apprentice you will be working towards a Level three qualification as an Engineering Technician.

The Field Service Engineering Apprenticeship is an initial three-year role where you will have the opportunity to develop effective skills across all major Maritime Field Service disciplines, with the aim of being in a position to specialise in the discipline by the end of the first year.

The second and third years focus on developing capability in the Maritime Field Service Engineering domain. As you grow in confidence you will contribute to the support of active programmes under guidance and supervision.

A review is carried out at the end of the third year to confirm the direction of your future career and discuss the options of further training as appropriate.

This opportunity is in Crawley, working within the Engineering Services (UK) business.

Who we're looking for:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are motivated, committed and keen to learn. A self-starter who is able to manage their time, show initiative and has a genuine interest in Thales. Successful candidates will show self-discipline and an aspiration to build a career within the engineering function.

You will also need:

Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 9 - 4 (A-C) including English, Maths and Science.

Right to Work in the UK for the duration of the programme.
