A Global manufacturer based in Leeds are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join their growing team.
The key aim of this role which is reporting to the Industrialisation Engineering Manager and supporting the line Process manager on a day to day basis, will be to lead the implementation of improvement projects to ensure the company's products are produced at the required quality levels and as efficiently as possible in line with Production Systems and also assisting with the day to day function of the production engineering department.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in Industrial Engineering and will be a Degree educated (or equivalent) Engineer.
You will need to have a good understanding and working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, 8D etc.
Experience/ Qualifications:
-Lean background
-Industrial experience
-Project management skills
-layout design experience
-communication skills: able to work in diverse culture with different internationality
