Industrial Electrician / Electrical Engineer
St Austell Brewery, St Columb, Cornwall
Up to £30,476 per annum Plus Benefits including Discounts on Food, Drink and Accommodation, Company Bonus, Health Cash Plan, Training and Career Development Opportunities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Industrial Electrician / Electrical Engineer at our St Austell Site. The position will be to work 40 hours per week on a shift basis with occasional weekend work.
What it’s like to be an Industrial Electrician / Electrical Engineer:
You will be providing a flexible, high quality support service for electrical systems in our Brewery. Working on a wide range of industrial electrical systems, you will undertake planned and preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a timely manner.
Naturally, we need to keep the beer and ale creation process in full swing, so you will plan your work to provide the minimum disruption to the brewing process.
Additionally, you will provide support and expertise across all of our maintenance activities and, as such, mechanical know-how or experience would be highly beneficial.
About You:
It’s a given that you will have experience as an Electrical Engineer or Electrician, but it is also important that you also have:
- Data and analytical skills
- Time management
- Able to work well as part of a team
- NVQ 3 Standard in Electrical engineering
- Strong diagnostic skills in electrical, instrumentation and calibration
- PLC experience would be an advantage
Sound mechanical knowledge and the capability to multi-skill would also be advantageous. Specific experience in the Brewing, Beverage or Food Processing industry is desired but not essential.
