Project Coordinator WANTED - Permanent, Sheffield
EMBS are working in partnership with a well established, high profile engineering company, located in Sheffield who are currently in the market for a Project Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our client specialises in the manufacture of complex, detailed components for a variety of lucrative industries, supplying world wide.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for organising and scheduling the work load of the engineering department and maintaining department load and capacity plans. They will also be required to coordinate activities to ensure projects and activities progress to agreed time scales.
Primary duties will include:
Working with the appropriate managers, other employees and customers, create and maintain project plans for the introduction of new products into the company.
Work with the engineering team to plan and manage department capacity and schedule workload
Hold regular meetings with multi-functional teams to teams to review project progress, set priorities, agree actions and review risks
Maintain records on project budgets and cost reduction activities
Produce good quality reports for the engineering manage and the rest of the business and maintain a number of KPI's
Successful candidates MUST be able to demonstrate:
Correct attitude, self motivated and a hunger to learn and progress
Work in a methodical and organised approach
Experience of coordinating multi functional teams
A basic knowledge of machining, forming and fabrication processes would be advantageous but is not essential
Computer literate - MS packages
Ability to communicate at all levels including customers and suppliers
Strong organisational skills
This position may suit a newly qualified individual with engineering / manufacturing knowledge as well as someone who has some practical, proven engineering or manufacturing background

Stability / Longevity - Permanent position
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Shifts: Days - Monday to Thursday 07.15 to 16.00, Friday 07.15 to 12.15
