Bell Cornwall Recruitment currently have an AMAZING opportunity in the Sutton Coldfield are for a HR Consultant & Employee Relations Specialist, to work within a small and high performing team. This role will involve complex cases, and the potential for fantastic career progression long term. If you are a specialist in this field this could be the role for you!

However this role comes with a warning as it is not to everyone taste???

This role is different to being a HR Manager for a single organisation, you are in effect a HR Manager for lots of different businesses in many different sectors, all at the same time! This means you will be advising on a diverse range of HR issues. You need to be well organised and have the ability to deal with multiple clients in different industries. One minute you might be advising on an issue in a manufacturing company the next you could be dealing with a CEO of a Charity or out on site leading on a disciplinary. You need to be outstanding at prioritising and juggling!

This is HR outsourcing, so all your clients will have different contracts, different holiday entitlement, and different sick pay arrangements. It's not only the employment terms that are different but also the workplace culture and the personalities that you are supporting.

Every day is different. And sometimes it may feel like you have experienced a careers worth of HR challenges in just a week!

Key duties:

Managing a range of complex ER cases for multiple clients, managing their needs and maintaining relationships throughout.
Liaise with external parties as requested, including off site meetings and visits when needed.
Coaching and assisting business owners/managers with difficult employee issues.
Ensure the CRM system is maintained accurately and efficiently at all times.

The ideal candidate will have:

HR professional qualification as desired, and/or a legal training course completion.
A wealth of generalist HR experience.
Sound judgement- the ability to deliver pragmatic solutions is key.
The ability to work to your own initiative and with confidence.Due to the nature of this role, a car driver is essential
