Quality Inspector

There is now a vacancy for a Quality Inspector to join a leading manufacturing company in East Grinstead, West Sussex. As Quality Control Inspector you will be offered a salary of cGBP27,500 + benefits. Quality Inspector role is Mon-Fri days.
Duties and Responsibilities for QC / Quality Inspector:
Carry out routine quality control / QC checks on products
Use of vernier and other gauges and instruments
Measurement of dimensions
Keep records of measurements and non-conformances
Assessment of visual characteristics and colour checks
Perform other quality control tests on form and function
Logging of tests in documentation records
Deputise for the Quality Manager when required
Candidate Requirements for Quality Inspector / QC Inspector :
Able to work accurately with a vernier, other gauges and instruments
Quality Inspector experience and ideally have experience of ISO 9001 audits
Able to clearly record measurements and non-conformances
Confident with interpreting production instructions and procedures
Possess the personal assertiveness to ensure that personnel adhere to accepted product requirements
