Area Sales Manager - Agriculture
South East

We are currently searching for an area sales manager for a market leading agricultural company. Are you a hunter who has a large amount of agronomic knowledge? Someone who knows their way around the horticultural industry with a network of top and soft fruit growers? Know their way around fertilisers including solid, liquid and speciality?
The company is a market leader and have an excellent team made up of dynamism and experience who are all working towards a common objective. The company gives a lot of autonomy and will give support and growth opportunities internally.
If this sounds like you, you could be the perfect individual. The position is covering the South East of the UK and building upon existing relationships whilst building new business to grow the region. The role is home based but you will be expected to travel to visit growers to build relationships and offer recommendations to grow and develop revenue of the region. If you have a great successful sales record in an agricultural environment and have knowledge of fertiliser and fruit, then I want to hear from you.
The following would be perfect but are not essential
- FACTS qualification
- be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in Agriculture
- have experience within Top and Soft Fruit husbandry
- develop a close relationship with farmers & growers
- display sound financial understanding
