I am currently working with an award winning independent UK consultancy who are looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant to join their team in London.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice/technical expertise for a complete benefit solution encompassing risk and health but with a focus on flex consultancy
  • Management and completion of data analysis and benefit audits as required
  • Act as Client Account Manager for flex only clients and some wider full service clients:
    • regular contact with clients by telephone, email and letter
    • attending meetings
    • arranging for the issue of reports covering technical matters and advice - all subject to peer review
    • development of client to provide other services
    • monitor WIP and budgets and ensure correct and timely invoicing
  • Assisting in acquiring new business, particularly flex and full service clients and identify opportunities with existing clients for account development in relation to flex and Me2 World
  • Provide clients with information on relevant new and existing products and services
  • Work with the Platform Delivery Manager and Project Manager on all client implementations and renewals of Me2 to ensure a first class client experience
  • Any other reasonable task as advised from time-to-time
  • Experience/Qualifications
  • Relevant employee benefits experience is essential, with over 5 years in this market.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of benefits legislation and flex delivery platforms
  • Proven track record in new business acquisition and/or account development
  • Should be qualified to CII Diploma level or PMI equivalent
  • Experience in developing solutions using technology and delivering through to clients
  • A good working knowledge of IT development procedures and cycles (i.e. agile working).
  • Project management qualifications would be a bonus

  • Identifying and securing opportunities for account development and new business, in relation to flexible benefits and technology sales
  • Joined up consultancy approach across flex, risk, wellbeing solutions
  • High quality, professional service delivered to clients within agreed timescales and budgets
  • Effective client account management; maintaining strong client relationships; ensuring receipt of income stream
  • Working as a member of the team to achieve set income and profit targets for the WHW team as a whole
  • Full compliance with regulatory guidelines and agreed procedures
