External Reporting Assistant Accountant

ReAssure are looking to recruit a dedicated External Reporting Assistant Accountant to join our team within the Finance function. The position will preferably be based in Telford on a permanent basis. In this role as External Reporting Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the production and analysis of individual entity and consolidated Group Accounts. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and improve your technical IFRS knowledge and to influence the development of our reporting processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• End to end statutory accounts production for a number of medium to large individual group companies, learning to review and interpret the Trial Balance and accompanying disclosure notes.

• Contributing to the production of disclosure notes for the consolidated ReAssure Group with a focus on ensuring that they reconcile to the accounts.

• Driving continuous improvement in relation to our reporting and interpretation of KPIs (particularly IFRS Operating Profit) and other ratios.
