Assistant Young Person's Night Support Worker

Stoke-on-Trent

£16,500 pro rata

Permanent, Average 21 hours per week

 

(This service fits around the needs of the customer, it runs over 7 days a week, so you’ll need to work nights on a rota basis, you will also need to work on their out of hours on call service)

 

You’ll be working during the night, with care leavers and young people in partnership with the YMCA. You’ll make sure that customers are safe and well and aren’t causing any disturbances. From time to time you take emergency referrals, sign-post customers to other services and welcome new customers.

 

Our client needs someone who’s flexible and adaptable, as this service is fits around the needs of their customers. Ideally, they’re looking for someone with knowledge or experience of working with young people, mental health, safeguarding and the barriers that young people face. 

 

The successful person for this role will need to be DBS checked.

 

Help them to give those without a plan, voice or home to build concrete futures by tackling the issues that keep people from finding their own home.
