Reference Data Manager
The Manager will lead the reference data function within operations to help support the goals of operations globally.
Some of the responsibilities of the Reference Data Manager:
- Accountable for the timely and accurate set-up of securities static data globally across trading systems.
- Proactive management for the on-going maintenance of static information within principal trading systems globally.
- Accountable for the accurate daily verification of asset prices held globally.
- Ensure fair and accurate prices are used in fund valuations and within all applicable downstream systems.
- Accountable for the timely set-up of all funds, brokers and custodians on principal trading systems.
- Accountable for ensuring timely and robust updates to the business globally with regards to status of on-going set-up activity. Responsible and accountable for all issues including the provision of timely and efficient client service. Strive for excellent Client Service. Escalation of issues in line with company policy and business judgement.
- Robust management of vendors and service providers where applicable, ensuring SLA's and business requirements and managed and are in line with expectations globally.
Background of the Reference Data Manager:
- Extensive experience within Reference Data, Static Data or Market Data ideally within asset management
- People management or team lead experience is essential
- Experience of managing external vendors is a massive plus
