School House is a small, friendly recruitment specialist operating in the education sector. After an extremely busy year, we now need an enthusiastic Recruitment Assistant/Resourcer to help us to recruit additional Teachers and Teaching Assistants, as we support an ever increasing number of schools in the local area with supply staff.

We are ideally looking for someone with a good standard of education - GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade 5/C or above, a confident and friendly telephone manner and excellent I.T. skills. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage although we would also really like to hear from individuals new to recruitment/seeking a new career. Full and comprehensive training is provided. A Full UK Driving licence would also be useful.

Main duties and responsibilities include:-

* Writing and placing job adverts for Teacher, HLTA and TA vacancies

* Screening potential candidates over the telephone to establish their suitability for the role(s)

* Arranging and conducting interviews with short-listed candidates

* Completing comprehensive pre-employment checks quickly and efficiently

* Liaising with schools and candidates via telephone and email throughout recruitment process

* Writing professional profiles for candidates ready to send to schools

Flexibility is possible in relation to the daily hours i.e. Full or Part-time, although interested candidates should ultimately be available to work Monday to Friday, and there are reduced working hours during school holidays. The position is to start as soon as possible but we understand that interested candidates working currently may be required to work a notice period.

Interested candidates should email their current CV and salary expectations to Lucy Fallon by Friday 1st November 2019. Anyone wishing to have a confidential discussion about the role and possible hours first, are encouraged to contact Lucy at the Sheffield office for an informal chat
