SEN Teaching Assistant - East Birmingham - Start 22nd October
Academics are currently searching for both a Primary and Secondary school teaching assistants to work within a school within the East Birmingham area.
The school has state of the art facilities and teaches children between the ranges 4 - 19. It prides itself on its ability to make a difference to its pupils, and specialises in work with SEN children. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and empathetic character who is ambitious and relishes opportunity.
The candidate is required:
To have some experience working within an SEN environment. Experience working with students with ASD, SEMH, ADHD and ODD would be preferred.
Be the bearer of an up-to-date DBS check.
Be able to start promptly.
It would be beneficial to have:
Intervention Training would be beneficial e.g. MAPA or TeamTeach
Qualifications in assistant teaching g. Cache 2
