The job
This is a brand-new role due to ongoing company success, where you will modify existing products for customers as well as introduce and refine new innovative product concepts through the development process, ensuring that technical and quality standards are achieved and maintained.
Reporting to the Quality & Technical Manager, the successful candidate will liaise closely with the Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain teams to develop new products that will expand the product range and create points of difference that will help win business and drive sales and profitability.
This job offers an excellent opportunity to be creative, using your own ideas along with those of the wider business and customers to create brands that consumers love.
Your experience
You will ideally be educated to a degree level in food science, food technology or nutrition related discipline and possess previous product development experience.
You will ideally have a background within beverage manufacturing (most preferably soft drinks) or maybe flavours, colours or preservatives experience, within either food or beverages.
You will have a passion for product innovation, a creative flair, a good understanding of market trends plus possess excellent communication skills. A driving licence is required due to site location.
