Up to 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 8:45am-5:15pm
As a Security Officer at G4S, you have the opportunity to work sociable hours in a stable role. In this role, you will work mostly Monday-Friday and between 8:45am-5:15pm (some weekends and evenings required). While you'll benefit from some security experience, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
More than a security guard, you'll keep everyone safe, providing customer service with a smile and managing visitors, car parking and any incidents. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you must be a friendly face who enjoys helping the public and being on your feet all day.
If you can maintain secure environments at different sites in your area, you could look forward to an interesting role packed full of variety. Aged 18 or over, you should be outgoing, approachable and a confident communicator and with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service as part of our team.
As these relief Security Officer roles involve travelling to and working at client sites in your area, you'll ideally have a full driving licence and be able to travel to work by car. Or be able to use public transport to get to the different sites in time for your shift. We offer an expenses package to support travel costs.
While you'll mainly work weekdays with the occasional weekend and evening, you can boost your pay with overtime and opportunities to work at all kinds of events. You can also enjoy real career progression with a big national company.
