Minimum of 32.5 hours and up to 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday,
term time plus 2 days (38.4 working weeks)
Actual Salary starting from £13,527-£15,401 (dependent on agreed hours)
(based on a full-time equivalent salary of £18,426 per annum)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Science Technician to join our team, helping to support our successful Science Department to deliver exceptional lessons.
You will assist with:
- The preparation of materials and equipment for use in Science lessons.
- The routine maintenance of resources and equipment.
- General administrative tasks relevant to the department.
Candidates should possess strong practical skills, be conscious of health and safety, have the ability to work flexibly with a positive attitude and cope with competing demands.
You should also have a commitment and interest in the wellbeing, support and achievement of students.
A technician/laboratory background or experience of working in an educational setting would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
This post may be ideal for gap year students who possess/are working towards a science qualification or who have a general interest in Science.
