Salary: (Grade E) £22,911 per annum rising to a maximum of £25,295 per annum, subject to performance

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education.  We operate 13 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset and Wiltshire and will be expanding to include Plymouth School of Creatives Arts in November 2019.

UTC Plymouth is a STEM school for students aged 13 – 19 years. We have a large, modern site with industry standard equipment. We are seeking a Caretaker who will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are maintained to a high standard and providing a pleasant environment in which students and staff can work and learn. 

The Caretaker will be a key-holder and must be willing to be called out at any time should an emergency arise. 

The successful candidate will have experience of carrying out general building and grounds repairs and maintenance tasks, with the capacity to prioritise a wide range of tasks. They will also need a clear understanding of both security issues and Health & Safety requirements in respect of all areas of school life.
