Description
As the Transport Contract Manager you'll have the following responsibilities:
- Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organisations mission specifically, support management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organisational planning.
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of support services, through operational improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
- Oversee overall operational management, planning, systems and controls.
- Management of external agencies relevant to operations.
- Build strong relationships with haulage companies and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge on changes to customs process / requirements and share with wider teams
- Drive productivity gains and cost to serve reductions
- Drive for continuous improvement Skills & Knowledge
