Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps is recruiting for a Production Team Leader (FMCG)to work for our client based is Lincoln on a 3 month contract.
You will be required to work as part of a team displaying confidence in own abilities and judgements, with responsibility for ensuring production conforms with the specifications laid down by the customer.
The successful candidate for the Team Leader position will also be required to provide support for the Production Manager, with coaching/direction for the production team members to drive continuous performance improvement.
Working Hours: Friday and Saturday, 7PM to 7AM
Salary: GBP12.12 per hour
Day to day tasks include but not limited to:
Prepare and complete orders for delivery according to plan.
To fulfil any reasonable tasks requested by your Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager
Ensure Health & Safety guidelines/procedures are being adhered to at all times, and that you are complying with company policies.
Ensure Food Quality/Safety and legality procedures and checks, sign offs & paperwork is completed as per requirements.
Ensure all products are packed efficiently, correctly labelled and coded on the tags and outer case labels in accordance with the packing specification.
Report any Out of Spec Products/Machinery issues/Non-Conformances/ to team leader/supervisor promptly.
Machine Operating
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
Follow and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Good organisational and time-keeping skills
Basic understanding of HACCP and COSHH would be ideal but not essential.
Production Team Leader Skills and experience
Good communications skills with a 'positive' approach to problem solving.
Demonstrate an ability to work in effective teams
Display a 'can do' attitude using initiative to act on opportunities the role will provide.
Have the ability to motivate, innovate and anticipate
To have integrity, be diplomatic and impartial.
