An exciting opportunity has arisen, supporting the information management systems used to deliver services within our client's People directorate. Do you have an ability for technical problem solving, and an eye for detail?

IT Systems Technician Responsibilities:

Our client is recruiting a part-time System Support Officer for their Business Intelligence team, based in the People directorate. This offers an exciting and rewarding career opportunity, providing first / second line support and systems development across multiple service areas and systems.

IT Systems Technician Requirements:

Applicants must combine the technical expertise required for system support with good communication skills to work in an integrated way across services and teams. Our client currently uses case management systems including LiquidLogic and Capita, plus support software such as MS Office. Experience of managing these or similar systems is highly desirable.

Strong project management and organisation skills will also be required, in order to manage upgrades and other system-related changes.

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to a Standard check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Job type: Part Time, Permanent, 18.5 hours per week

Salary: GBP26,999 to GBP28,785 pro rata
