Board Member
Interested in being a Board Member of a globally recognised business?
Board Membership at Lincs Rural is about leadership to deliver quality rural affordable homes and services.
As part of our Board Succession planning, we are inviting people who have the time and interest to come and meet us in Spilsby and learn about the Association’s work and whether Board Membership is mutually beneficial.
In September 2019 the Association was recognised as a prestigious Platinum Investors in People organisation, demonstrating our commitment to high performance. Platinum accreditation is the highest accolade that can be achieved, which is currently only held by around 100 of the 10,000 accredited organisations across the world.
The positions are voluntary and unpaid; however, Board Membership is a two-way process and working with Lincs Rural opens opportunities to learn new business skills in a range of areas. Membership involves a commitment to attend at least six Board meetings each year, normally on a Thursday. Travel and other expenses, including childcare, are reimbursed.
We are a small friendly organisation with 14 staff making a big impact in rural communities throughout Lincolnshire. We have an exciting future for people with a range of skills and experience who can lead and challenge.
