Part or Full time Accountant - Practice

Are you an an accountant with practice experience seeking a Client Manager (part time or full time considered!) opportunity but with a clear pathway to progressing to a partner/director level position in the future?

This opportunity could suit an ambitious Client Manager looking for a fresh challenge or an experienced Senior looking to progress.

The position will be offered on a permanent basis with a starting salary between GBP33,000 and GBP38,000 dependent on experience.

The Client Manager will assume responsibility for a portfolio of clients to provide a high quality tax, accountancy and VAT service with the attention to detail and personal touch that SME's demand. Duties will include planning and reviewing sets of accounts and forwarding final accounts to clients, setting budgets for staff to adhere to and assisting them while providing training and support, preparing and reviewing Tax returns, preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, meeting, advising and maintaining effective communication with clients including forecasting work and billings.

To be considered, you must have previous experience of working in accountancy practice and ideally will be ACA/ACCA qualified, however your application would still be welcome if you are qualified by experience. You must have an up to date and working knowledge of accounts preparation and mixed tax work with superb knowledge of accounting principles. You will be IT literate and familiar with a number of accountancy software packages and Excel, and will be have the ability to communicate regularly and clearly with clients and colleagues.
