Overall purpose:
To support through the development and implementation of management information systems necessary to ensure the effective and efficient performance of the organisation in line with the corporate strategy and business plans. To ensure that robust data protection processes are maintained.
Key Aspects of the Role:
* To develop and implement systems required by the SLT in order to achieve organisational objectives and outcomes.
* To provide support to managers, regional managers and directors in their business planning processes.
* To support the senior leadership team in identifying and implementing the information systems they require to effectively manage our services.
* To provide guidance and support to the organisation in setting, monitoring and measurement of service outcomes and performance.
* To be the organisation's main point of contact for all data protection and privacy matters.
* To provide advice and guidance to the organisation on all aspects of data protection legislation compliance.
* To support the Company Secretary with responses to Subject Access Requests.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Have experience of developing and implementing management information systems in a complex and dispersed organisation.
* Experience of working to support various organisational levels and contributing to the work of the Senior Leadership Team.
* Able to analyse complex information and collate into clear and concise written reports and/or electronic presentation.
* Well-developed numeric and literacy skills at a level that would enable the post holder to process complex reports and statistical statements.
* Able to influence others in order to progress effective use of management information systems.
* Able to demonstrate an ability to manage projects.
* Able to work occasional flexible hours, including some evening working and nights away from home.
* Able to work flexibly and travel around the UK and Isle of Man.
Key Responsibilities
Development and Implementation of organisational information systems.
1.1. To develop and maintain systems which provide the management information required by the organisation.
1.2. To collate and analyse management information and present to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in the forms required.
1.3. To support the SLT in identifying the information required to ensure the effective and efficient performance of the organisation.
1.4. To collate and disseminate findings from internal and external reports which relate to the performance of the organisation.
1.5. To develop and implement systems required by the SLT in order to achieve organisational objectives and outcomes.
1.6. To support the Chief Executive in the delivery of the strategy.
1.7. To provide support and advice in relation to data protection and information sharing.
Contribute to the Measurement and Monitoring of Service Effectiveness.
2.1. To provide support to managers, regional managers and directors in their business planning processes.
2.2. To provide guidance and support to the organisation in setting, monitoring and measurement of service outcomes and performance.
2.3. To support the senior leadership team in identifying and implementing the information systems they require to effectively manage our services.
2.4. To collect and collate management information in relation to service effectiveness as required by the SLT.
Data Protection
3.1. To be the organisation's main point of contact for all data protection and privacy matters.
3.2. To provide advice and guidance to the organisation on all aspects of data protection legislation compliance.
3.3. To support the Company Secretary with responses to Subject Access Requests.
3.4. To maintain formal records of all data processing activities.
3.5. To support the organisation in developing data impact assessments for new projects.
Other
4.1. To use organisational IT systems for the production, storage and dissemination of management information.
4.2. To provide training and consultation to staff to support their understanding and use of management information systems.
4.3. To undertake other tasks required by line management consistent with grade and person specification for this post.

5.6. To keep abreast of good practice and attend relevant training in order to develop own skills, knowledge and experience, in accordance with a personal development plan.
5.7. To ensure that all the work undertaken by yourself is conducted to the highest professional standards and lead by example.
