About the role:

We are currently seeking a Data Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for designing, developing and supporting a corporate data warehouse that will aid evidence based decisions by providing access to data from all systems from a variety of databases and a single centralised data warehouse. You’ll provide the knowledge and advice of DWH delivery standards and best practice when considering current and future systems and how these would integrate seamlessly within a single solution as well as implementing ways that make master data available across systems or increase better use of client data.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • A background in data warehouse design (eg - dimensional modelling) and data mining. 
  • Experience of implementing service business technology to share information across different database platforms.
  • In depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (extract, transform, load)
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Strong communicator
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude
  • Ideally familiarity with BI technologies (eg Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Microsoft Power BI)
