Job Introduction

Our Business Partnership Executives are relationship-building wizards, providing clients with fantastic sponsorship opportunities across household name titles such as the Manchester Evening News, Leicester Mercury, Liverpool Echo and more.

As a Business Partnership Executive, you'll work closely with our newspaper sales, commercial and editorial teams. You'll guide your clients on the best packages for their audience development needs, whilst actively looking to secure new and cost effective partnerships across the regions.

This position is not limited to a certain location, and the successful candidate can be based in any of our UK offices around Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham or Leicester. The successful candidate will be required to travel between these locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business partnerships across the designated region.
  • Develop and deliver the strategic plan designed to maximise performance, within resource budget and achieve against sales/revenue targets
  • Managing client accounts, keeping in regular contact and making any relevant adjustments and actioning their campaign over the partnership period
  • Ensure that all activity and expenditure is assessed in terms of profitability
  • Identify and develop persuasive business partnership campaigns in line with clients business goals
  • Complete regular customer service calls to existing Business Partnerships
  • Monitor editorial and social media opportunities to ensure clients receive full requirement over the course of the partnership

The Ideal Candidate

You're a pro at building lasting relationships quickly, becoming a trusted provider for your clients. You're driven, determined and either come from a commercial background or have a solid understanding of it.

You can research and present data to clients as part of a well-rounded pitch, and are a confident project manager, able to liaise with clients, editors, editorial staff and commercial staff in order to build a full package to meet your customer's needs.

You need a clean UK driving licence, as travelling is a large part of your role.
