Our client is a multi award winning estate agents who have offices throughout the Yorkshire and Lancashire regions. They are currently looking for an inventory clerk & viewing rep to join their team in their Blackburn office and cover the properties in the surrounding area.

The role involves managing a team of portfolio managers and inventory clerks all working within the rental market. This role will include everything from valuation, marketing the property upon instruction right through to signing tenants in and out of the properties.

Job Responsibilities

* Documenting a detailed inventory of property contents and continuing to monitor this throughout the change over of tenants.

* Compiling photographic evidence of inventory and quality of the properties to compare from during the change over.

* Attending viewings with landlords and reviewing the condition of the properties.

* Prepare all documentation inline with the legislations and return deposits to tenants where applicable.

* Check all landlords are registered with the rental warranty scheme.

* Responsible for the signing in and out of all tenants in the properties.

* Must ensure that all utilities have been documented in line and the details are set up correctly for the new providers.

* Dealing with any complains from tenants and landlords efficiently.

* Record all issues with properties correctly.

Job Requirements

* Past experience within the Lettings industry.

* Strong customer services skills.

* Excellent time management skills.

* Negotiation skills to achieve the best outcome for the business and the landlord / tenant.

* Flexible and adaptable approach

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to become a part of the growing team in the Lancashire area. Hours of work at 9am - 5:30pm and the role will involve working alternate Saturdays 10:00am - 2:00pm.

The job role would also require someone who would be able to be flexible in terms of times to comply with the required responsibilities. Our client offers a company car to travel to and from the properties in the area. (the car may also be used for personal use)
