At Liberty HR Recruitment we are delighted to be working again with our client to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Part-Time HR Co-ordinator to join their fast-paced and people-focused organisation. The successful applicant will be supporting the delivery of a proactive, effective and efficient HR advisory service to both internal and external stakeholders.
The key responsibilities of the successful applicant will include being a point of contact for employees and managers on HR related queries; they will carry out administrative duties to support all areas of the HR function and will manage HR processes such as Occupational Health referrals, sickness absence, working with Payroll to ensure that all paperwork, including new starter and leaver records, maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and reference requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner. They will also administer the HR database.
The HR Coordinator will ideally be CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards this) although this is not essential as they should have sound previous generalist experience of HR administration. Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills are essential as are excellent organisational skills including the ability to manage their own time and prioritise their workload effectively. It is also important to have strong IT skills, be skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel packages and have experienced in working with HR packages/databases.
This permanent position is for a minimum of 20-25 hours a week.
Salary is in the range GBP18,000 - GBP20,000 pro rata, and there will be funding for CIPD qualifications after a successful 6 month probationary period.
