Production Operatives - Immediate starts - GBP8.56 up to GBP9.84ph - (phone number removed)
Pure Staff is currently recruiting for 4 x Production operatives to start immediatley for our customer based in Redditch.
Our customer is very unique and they have several sites all over Europe producing and distributing to major retail outlets all over the UK.
The ideal Production Operative will be:
Experienced in a similar role
Able to work as part of a team or individually
Reliable and motivated
Flexible in terms of working hours
Competent both written and verballyDaily duties of a Production Operative:
Ensure production line set up in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Ensure team members are actively engaged on the production line
Pack and palletise products in accordance with the Job Information Sheet to ensure products meet agreed specifications.
Ensure production line stocked with adequate components for each production run, and unused items returned to the warehouse once production complete.
Strip and clean down the production line in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Work in partnership with both Machine Minders and Engineers to ensure the production line is running efficiently, and breakdowns resolved as quickly as possible.
Comply with all Food Hygiene and Allergen Control requirements as stipulated within Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
General knowledge and application of company procedures and product quality standards.
Accurate recording / communication of company and production data
Involvement / participation in team projects and process improvement initiatives
Identification of and reporting process improvement opportunities
To maintain acceptable housekeeping standards at all times, and to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
Any other duties deemed necessary for the benefit of the Company by management.
Hours of work for a Production Operative will be Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 on a rotational basis. Pay is GBP8.56ph for the 12 weeks following a successful twelve week probationary period there would be a shift allowance applied to the basic rate up to a max pay of GBP9.84ph.
