I am currently recruiting for a probation service officer to work in Islington.
This role initially for 3 months with the possibility to extend further, candidates applying should have a current enhanced DBS dated within the last 3 years to be considered for the role.
In this role you will be expected to carry a caseload of low and medium risk offenders, doing the full remit of case management. You will be expected to, at times, work in partnership with external agencies to assist in reducing the re-offending rates of Service Users. You will be expected to deliver appropriate interventions and make risk assessments, as well as writing up breach reports.
To be successful in your application, you must have previous experience of working in a Criminal Justice setting as a PSO, and have experience of using systems like NOMIS and OASys .
