Qualified Audit and Accounts Senior

LB Recruit is working with a top 75 accountancy firm that is looking to recruit a qualified accountant to join their Audit and Accounts team.

In this role, you will be working to deliver a broad range of audit and accounts services to a number of important clients. This would be a great opportunity for someone who is eager to progress in their career as my client can provide the training and support to facilitate this, and also for someone wanting to be audit focused, as this position will be roughly 60% audit focused. My client is also offering a very competitive base salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities of the role:

• All aspects of the audit process including; planning, finalisation and leading audit work at clients' premises
• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts
• Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts
• Assisting with the management of the staff
• Ad-hoc financial duties
• Assisting senior staff with ad-hoc projects

Requirements for the role:

• Newly qualified/a few years post qualified
• At least 3 years practice experience (including relevant audit experience)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with a a professional approach to clients
• Must be able to drive to Chelmsford and locally
