Qualified Audit and Accounts Manager

LB Recruit is working with a top 75 accountancy firm that is looking to recruit a qualified accountant to join their Audit and Accounts team. In this role, you will be working to deliver a broad range of audit and accounts services to a number of important clients. This would be a great opportunity for someone who is eager to progress in their career as my client can provide the training and support to facilitate this. My client is also offering a very competitive base salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Management of the audit process including; planning, finalisation and liaising with key client contacts
• Review of year-end statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
• Review of monthly or quarterly management accounts
• Assisting clients with queries and advising clients where necessary
• Responsible for management and training of trainee and newly qualified staff
• Assisting Directors with ad hoc projects
• Proactively building a network of professional contacts

Requirements for the role:

• No less than 2 years post-qualified (ACA/ACCA)
• At least 5 years practice experience (including relevant audit experience)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with a a professional approach to clients
• The ability to drive to Chelmsford and locally is preferred.
