An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading provider of Facilities Management, who delivers cost-effective and sustainable bespoke solutions to customers in the public and private sectors. They are currently looking to recruit a Procurement Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. The Procurement Manager shall carry out subcontract procurement in line with the procurement timetable and in accordance with my client's procurement policy.

Key Responsbilities:

Building and developing a successful working relationship with Project Teams within the Sector to ensure subcontracts are procured in an efficient manner with capable organisations in accordance with my client's procurement, health & safety, environment and quality policies and procedures.
Procurement of work packages within the Sector ranging from GBP50,000 to GBP500,000.
Develop, agree and implement a supply chain strategy with project teams for the successful and efficient procurement of subcontract packages both during mobilisation and the lifecycle of a project.
Prepare procurement schedule ensuring the project team contribute and complete their relevant sections.
Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns (time, cost, quality) and make recommendations to appoint and place subcontracts, all in accordance with procurement process.
Carry out gap analysis between packages to ensure full and complete subcontract procurement.
Build and develop successful partnerships with Supply Chain partners.
Work with Supply Chain to promote and measure continuous improvement in terms of cost, quality and learning of all parties.
Have a clear understanding of the contract applicable to the project on which they are working and the risks and opportunities that this presents.
Identify, manage, reduce and drive out unnecessary costs and inefficient activities.
Demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness of our services to create the best value solution for clients.
Ensure that my client's commercial position is protected using in depth understanding and experience of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes.
Maintain a good understanding of Employment Law concerning TUPE and pension obligations. Key Requirements:

QS background with experience in procuring FM and construction related activities.
Degree required.
