An exciting opportunity has arisen at Liberty HR Recruitment for a Recruitment Administrator to join our client's fast-paced and people-focused organisation in Southampton. Working 37.5 hours a week. the Recruitment Administrator will be working alongside colleagues to enable the delivery of a consistent and efficient recruitment service to candidates.

Key responsibilities for this post will include acting as a point of contact for recruitment queries; escalating queries where necessary; conducting pre-employment checks; producing staff files; generating recruitment documentation; and carrying out general administrative duties to support the Recruitment function. They will also maintain the recruitment database, ensuring it is correct and complies with relevant recruitment legislation.

With all of this in mind, it is important that applicants have previous administration experience and have ideally attained a CIPD Level 3 qualification or higher, although this is not essential. Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills are crucial and applicants should have a flexible approach to completing tasks, with the ability to work under pressure. An ability to work both as an individual or as part of a team and excellent organisational skills including ability to manage time and prioritise effectively are essential.

Having an eye for detail and being proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel packages is vital and being comfortable with social media would also be useful. Above all, an ability to work independently and on your own initiative within specified guidelines or processes will be necessary. An inclusive, sensitive and confidential mind-set is fundamental to this role, as is a well-developed range of interpersonal skills.

The salary offered for this position is in the range GBP18,000 - GBP20,800 per annum for 37.5 hours (Mon-Fri) and the post will be located in Southampton.
