Location : Wokingham
Salary GBP35-38,000 + Benefits + Free Parking
My client who are based in Wokingham are looking for a HR Advisor/Manager to join their new team. We are looking for candidates who have got experience working in a HR Generalist Role and are qualified/studying towards CIPD. On a daily basis you will be delivering a first class HR Service facilitating the implementation of the people strategy. To enhance the level of HR support to employees through the initial setting up of an HR department aligned to delivering key strategic business aims.
Daily Duties
Participation and management of a full cycle recruitment process
Management of the on-boarding process for all new joiners
Provide advice and support to complex HR issues, including Discipline & Grievance/Investigatory procedures, Sickness Absence Management, Staff & Welfare issues
Ensure confidentially in all aspects of HR service delivery
Provide HR administrative support for managers and staff where required
Manage HR records of HR documentation and digital information so it is accurate and complies with legislation such as GDPR
Provide support to managers on how to positivity deliver performance management in a consistent and structured manner
Support the HR Director to deliver key HR strategic objectives
Upkeep of the Time & Attendance system and reporting
Manage an on-line presence as an employer of choice by using on-line recruitment sites
Manage 3rd party recruitment agencies and the preferred supplier list
Manage the on-line staff handbook, ensuring that policies and procedures are kept up to date with employment legislation and best practice
Work with managers to deliver development needs
Support the H&S Manager ensuring that key H&S employment legislation is fully adhered to, take responsibility for fire warden and first aid training
Experience and Qualification
A strong, pragmatic and professional CIPD graduate (level 5)
At least 3 years generalist HR experience in a hands on role
Excellent up to date knowledge of HR & UK legislation
Proven skills in communication, diplomacy and advocacy
Competent user of Microsoft packages including PowerPoint
Familiar with requirements of a payroll system
