Role
The UK's largest publisher are looking for an enthusiastic, organised individual to provide support to one of our key sales functions. The successful candidate will play a key administrative role in supporting the sales team and provide an important link between the salesperson and the client. They will become an integral member of the sales team and enable the sales operation to achieve maximum advertising revenue streams, processing the sales administration of the business.
Responsibilities
Prioritise work to ensure that all deadlines are met at publishers and with Ad Sales Pro input
Accurate recording information on the in-house booking system to produce printed confirmation of verbal bookings, to be sent to each publisher and easily accessed by the sales teams
Effectively handle queries from publishers and deal with appropriately
Build and maintain positive relationship with nominated publishers and appropriate sales teams
As and when required, process bookings through and independent and live page-planner system
Skills
• Strong telephone and customer services skills a must, as the candidate will be required to offer assistance to all parts of the business
• Good organisational skills
• An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good Team player
• Willingness to learn - An ability to work independently and as a team
• Good Microsoft Office skills, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good written and verbal English
• Good level of Maths
• Evidence of systems knowledge
