COVER SUPERVISOR
The Redhill Academy Trust Pay Scale, Band 7
£19,312 - £21,318 pro rata
(Actual salary £16,267 - £17,956 per annum)
Permanent 37 hours per week, term time only
Required to start as soon as possible, you will oversee classes during the short-term absences of teaching staff. Appropriate work will be provided and it will be your role to manage student behaviour and keep them focused on task. When not being used for cover, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of a designated faculty and supporting other lessons as required.
You will need to be flexible, have a desire to work with young people and a calm and authoritative manner. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is considering a career in teaching or for someone qualified but seeking further school experience.
