Social Work Practitioner (Level 1) - Triage
BASE: The Val Waterhouse Centre, Kent Street, Grimsby
SALARY: £28,468 - £29,910
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
We are looking for someone to join our Triage Team as a Level 1 Practitioner. Your main role will be to work effectively within the Triage Function based in the multidisciplinary Single Point of Access. You will provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and facilitate proportionate holistic assessments both face to face and over the telephone.
This is a good opportunity for a vibrant social worker to join the team. The nature of the work is very challenging and professional resilience, often in an unpredictable environment is key to the Social Work Practitioner role. You will need to be at your best working under pressure and be able to respond effectively, calmly and professionally during difficult situations.
It goes without saying that you will need to demonstrate to us that you have the ability to use initiative and are prepared to take responsibility for making decisions.
You will need to be able to build positive relationships with various other professionals and individuals, at a number of levels and bring enthusiasm, creativity and passion to the service.
If you are motivated, reliable and able to work autonomously and find creative solutions for the people you work with, then you are the social worker who we want to work in our team.
You must be registered as a Social Worker with the HCPC or a newly qualified social worker awaiting HCPC registration.
Here at focus we are committed to enabling you to develop your practice. Newly qualified social workers will be recruited onto our ASYE salary of £25,000. This will increase to a Level 1 salary upon completion of the ASYE Programme.
