Social Work Practitioners (Level 1)

BASE:                               Agile Worker

HOURS:                           37.5 hours per week

SALARY:                         £28,468 - £29,910

This is an exciting opportunity for vibrant social workers to join us within our adult teams.

The Long Term team offers the opportunity to work with individuals and their support networks, establishing long term relationships. This role will form part of a rota covering a duty system from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday

The Short Term Team offers up to 6 weeks support to individuals aiding them to manage their needs, particularly in a crisis. This role will form part of a rota covering a duty system from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday

The Hospital Discharge team offers short term support to enable appropriate and safe discharges from hospital. This role will form part of a rota to cover the Hospital Discharge Team Service 7 days per week.

The nature of the work is challenging and professional resilience is key to the Social Work Practitioner role. We are looking for people who can build positive relationships at a number of levels and bring enthusiasm creativity and passion to the service.  You will need to be highly organised with excellent communication skills.

You must be registered as a Social Worker with the HCPC or a newly qualified social worker awaiting HCPC registration. 

Here at focus we are committed to enabling you to develop your practice.  Newly qualified social workers will be recruited onto our ASYE salary of £25,000. This will increase to a Level 1 salary upon completion of the ASYE Programme.
