Title: Profile Setter/Operator
Location: Wolverhampton
Hours: Monday-Thursday (phone number removed)
Friday (phone number removed)
ROP: GBP9.05 per hour
Duties:
All aspects of setting, loading of material and profiling of carbon steel products for use in the machining of flanges.
Downloading programmes to the machine from pre-set programmes
Profiling products from plate predominantly 10-65mm thick
General maintenance of material stock records.
Machine details:
Falcon Multi head Oxy Propane profile cutting machine
Bed size 6000mm x 3000mm, Bunny2.5 control system for standard shapes and downloading of pre-set programmes, cutting capacity up to 100mm thick.
Essential Attributes:
Must be an experienced profiling operator.
Must have FLT training certificate
Must be able to work on own initiative, and be part of a team with minimum supervision.
Desirable Attributes:
Computer literate with regards to programming the machine (Training can be given to the right candidate)
Familiar with radial drilling processes
Familiar with conventional centre lathe operation.
Overtime will generally be available during the week and Saturday mornings
