We are looking for an experienced Internal Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Resourcer to join our People and Talent Team here at Babington on a initial 3-month fixed-term contract.
Working closely with all key stakeholders within the business you will be responsible for the end to end recruitment and on boarding processes for all new employees across our departments and teams.
Duties will include:
Providing first line level advice and support for managers and employees in recruitment requirements and queries.
Support hiring managers on the recruitment process including advertisement creation; talent research and posting and maintaining vacancy openings both externally and internally.
Sourcing talent at all levels nationwide to fulfil organisational aspirations.
Ensure all documentation associated with recruitment is completed in a timely fashion and compliance records are all present.
Administering and maintaining organisations applicant tracking system reflective of hiring processes such as: application pre-screening; pipeline stage management; scheduling of interviews; vetting and barring checks and making offers of employment.
Liaise and negotiate with agencies and/or candidates on selection terms, start date and remuneration.
Ensure all employees provide copies of relevant documentation to prove eligibility to work in the UK.
Ensure all documentation is stored securely in line with GDPR regulations and Babington's policies.
Manage the new starter process in accordance with guidelines, maintaining high levels of accuracy at all times, providing status updates and chasing new starter information as required.
Assist in analysing and writing job descriptions and person specifications in line with standardised format to accurately reflect requirements and duties of the role.
Develop, maintain and provide competency based interview documentation in line with standardised format for each role.
Creation and maintenance of company talent pools to reflect company aspirations.
Manage internal & external communications in relation to recruitment opportunities, including social media platforms and internal communication channels.
Act as an ambassador for Babington exhibiting enthusiasm and professionalism at all times.
Skills and Experience
Grade A-C GCSE in English and maths or equivalent.
Experience of liaising with working with and through external agencies
Experience of providing end to end recruitment service with high quality customer service
Proven experience of recruitment at various levels, high volumes and specialist roles.
Experience in developing dynamic role profiles, job descriptions and advertisements
Ability to be assertive in challenging situations with individuals or groups
Ability to manage workload, time and resources effectively
Excellent telephone manner
Knowledge of current recruitment trends
Knowledge of safer recruitment in further education practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Passionate and pro-active 'can do' attitude
