A respected, established and innovative food operator is seeking a Fish Fryer/ Chip Shop Manager to join its team based in East Lancashire. Renowned for producing the highest quality food using the freshest local ingredients, they have expanded into a fish and chip shop, with a difference.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for quality food and a desire to manage a business with the full support of the group company.

As a Fish Fryer/ Chip Shop Manager your duties will include:

Providing an outstanding experience with excellent customer service.
Managing and developing a team of staff.
Serving and preparing a consistently high-quality food offering.
Preparing and cooking - cutting, batter making, and cooking other menu items.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Oil management.
Reporting to the management team.
To be a successful Fish Fryer/ Chip Shop Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience operating a fryer is preferred with the ability to cook multiple food items concurrently.
You must have good knowledge of food timings and cooking temperatures and deep-frying techniques.
Experience within the food industry at a management level is desired but a natural with people, confidence in a fast-paced environment and quality work ethic is essential.
A people person with an understanding of how to deal with customers.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene standards (training provided).
Detailed understanding of ingredients, hygienic preparation and allergens.
Full command of written and spoken English.
Willingness to learn and to innovate.

As the Manager you will be required to work 45 hours per week on a shift basis; days, evenings and weekend hours.

In return, the Fish Fryer/ Chip Shop Manager will receive a salary of GBP9.00 per hour with the opportunity to develop and progress within the company.
