Machine Operator

Wolviston are looking for several Machine Operators to be based in Newton Aycliffe.

These are permanent roles and you are required to operate assigned process plant on a shift to shift basis producing required volumes of product in a safe and cost-effective way.

* Understand and abide by the Safety Principles

* Carry out duties in a safe manner ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained and improved

* Participate in SHE programmes to ensure that excellent SHE performance is achieved

* Ensure all operating envelopes are adhered to and report deviations to team leader

* Ensure change grades are done to required standards

* Sample product and ensure pellet specifications are met

* Ensure all plant defects are reported to TL

Skills & Experience

* NVQ Level 2 preferred

* Previous process industry experience
